Good place to stay with boat no fixed bridges and decently deep water to main canal. We had 25ft Cc no issues.

No detail forgotten when setting up this vacation rental

Everything was great. No complaints.

The house was just has she had listed and check in and out was a breeze. No issues with the lock as with other houses we had stayed at. Very accommodating to our late checkout. Had friends with us and our adult children and they said they would book to stay there. Close to everything and everyone they know in the area. Everything is easily accessed by golf cart. Thank you for recommending this house. We will rent again.

This home is a perfect getaway. was great for my family of 6. We loved fishing on the dock and watching the wildlife. Got to see an otter which was great. The home is comfortable, well equipped and safe. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Just a perfect getaway

This was honestly one of the best places I have stayed. It suited our girls trip plans perfectly for the weekend! From spending the morning/afternoon on the water fishing and scalloping to great local eateries and karaoke at night. We highly recommend it!

Great place- Nice and quiet. If you trailering a boat and arriving at night make sure you have someone to help you with parking. It can be very dark at night. There are also a lot of golf carts zooming the roads. It was bit stressful arriving at night. During the day you will be good. Boat dock was floating dock about 2-3 feet depth in channel in and out to the river. Good communication from the beginning and answered all our questions thru out the stay. We will definitely look to return.

Camp Oakie was the perfect place for our first scalloping trip. We had two families staying together and there was more than enough space and was very comfortable. We were able to keep our boat on the water saving us from the busy boat ramps. Had a wonderful time in Homosassa and would definitely stay at camp oakie again!!

It is a very comfortable house to stay in. Having the boat right in the back yard is very convenient. Also nice to be able to bring my Furbaby.

We really enjoyed our stay, and would love to return! we were able to park our boat off of the dock right in the backyard (boat launch was close, and plenty of room to park our large truck and trailer out front, and another vehicle, or two!) The bedrooms &beds were clean and LARGE!. The house had a nice clean smell to it. Plenty of extra towels blankets etc. Fire pit was nice, kayaks there for use, large back yard! Host was super sweet to leave a small surprise for my daughters 6th birthday! ❤️❤️ i would recommend you bring a golf cart or rent one to drive around in while there! Plenty of restaurants and plenty of things to do while there, publix was less than a 10min drive! Awesome location!

This was a great house in an awesome location. We brought our 22ft boat and it had no issues navigating the canal or docking at the house. The house was very clean and seemed to have been renovated recently as everything seemed new! The neighbors were also very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall we really enjoyed this property while visiting family in the Homosassa area. The outdoor backyard was a great spot to hang out and the firepit was a nice touch that we definitely put to use during our beautiful weekend. I've made a few recommendations to the the owner on ways that the house can improve for guests but she was always very responsive and eager to please. In the end, the little things didn't really matter as we had a great time with family, cooked every night, and even did a little fishing. I would definitely recommend the property and rent again if I am in the area again in the future.

Beds and linens made for restful nights. Great location for boat dockage. Close to restaurants. Only a mile or less from most restaurants. Very comfortable accommodation!

while we had 16 beautiful days and really enjoyed our time at this property there were a couple things that would have made it better. For one...not having a closet or dresser in the master bedroom ( only one with king bed) was really odd! Had to hang our clothes on the locked closet door rail. Only had an open cabinet/ storage box to put all the other clothes in. Only other issue was finding the switches for the lighting in the oddest places! Aside from those couple issues our stay was great! Everything we needed was furnished and the place was spotless! We wouldn't hesitate to return! Hopefully, the bedroom situation will be corrected. We had a few relatives who live in the area visit us and they too were surprised at the size of the place and how well it is maintained.

We had a great time. The place was very clean and extremely well supplied. Great location. Highly recommend. Lots of space for six adults and two toddlers.

We loved our stay. The home is very spacious so you never feel cramped. The beds, omg soooo comfy, the extra toppers really are a nice touch. Kitchen is fully stocked with supplies. Appreciated the ammenties like full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Bathrooms were clean and beautiful (only issue was I couldn't get a late night bath as the tub drain wouldn't close). The home feels very secluded and is on back roads so you feel away from the world. The backyard is so big and the little dock is perfect for sipping coffee in the morning and watch the wildlife. Only a few mins away from so many good restaurants, coffee shops and parks. It only took us about an hour to/from Tampa airport and only about 20 mins from the beauty of the Crystal River area. Would definitely want to come back for another stay and getaway.

Jennifer and Susan were Excellent hosts. Highly recommend staying at their place. Place was clean with plenty of amenities. Great location between Crystal River and Weekie Wachee. Homosassa State Park literally short distance right down the road. Close proximity to major restaurants and grocery stores. Best shower pressure ever, beds were so comfortable and kayaking right in the back yard to boot. My wife and I cant say enough great things about this spot. Would stay here again without a doubt. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jennifer was an amazing hostess. She was so responsive if we needed anything. It was so easy to get in with remote lock.House was very clean and had everything we needed for an awesome weekend. Very well stocked.even had shampoo and conditioner and soap.6 adults and a small dog. Backyard was so big and we grilled out and enjoyed a fire in the firepit down by the water. Too cold to kayak.theres 4 for our use.Will definitely be back.

Best experience ever.

Jennifer's attention to detail is very impressive. The place is clean and neat, and stocked with everything you would need.We got to bring our dogs with us, which was a real treat. We took them out for their first boat ride, but it turns out they are not great sailors!It was wonderful having the boat right out back to get an early start on the scalloping. It is an easy, relaxing ride to the river, through beautiful marshes. We will definitely come back again.

The place was very clean and the owner was very responsive when we could not get in the door when first checking in. Each bed had a foam mattress on it, which was very uncomfortable and hot to me. The master did not have a closet or much storage space, nor did it have an attached bathroom (this was probably evident when looking at pictures but I missed it). The second bathroom was not air conditioned, which made for steamy showers in August. Not huge items but might make a difference to the next visitor.

Amazing place to stay, the cleaning lady truly deep cleaned, got their a little early on accident and she was scrubbing everything to perfection. The location was perfect. The canal it’s on is right before the long idle zone. So perfect for fisherman. A small boat ride to the majority of the places to eat on the water. Everything truly was perfect. Will definitely stay again.

We had an excellent stay in a great location! We were able to park our boat at the dock behind the house for easy access to the springs and Scalloping. It was so nice that this property was dog friendly and we were able to bring our dogs with us. The yard is not fenced but a ground steak and tie out cable helped with that! There was ample space for sleeping and in the common area for hanging out. Plenty of seating. Clean. Would stay again!

This house is great. It was perfect for a mixed group. Adults can have the two small rooms and kids can have the big room. There was plenty of space for everyone and with the open floorplan, you can all be in the main area and talk. The back room is perfect for a kids playroom, which is what we used it for. The only knock on that room is that it has no vents, so it gets very warm in late afternoon even with the ceiling fans going. The yard and dock are amazing. Just make sure to bring bug spray if you're going to be out in the evening. We didn't get a chance to kayak, but there are several available. My only knock is the cookware and kitchen utensils. There are only a couple small frying pans, so trying to cook a big meal was a huge challenge. The kitchen utensils are a hodgepodge of what renters left behind. A new full set of each would make the place pretty perfect. We would definitely stay here again when the kids are older and we could take advantage of the water access and kayaks.

Lovely home, no stairs, spacious and thoughtful accommodations. House sits rights on a sleepy canal with a dock, plenty of minnows to catch. The road in front of the house is busy (for rural community standards), but the back yard is very spacious.

Great location, very comfortable furniture and beds, all dishes, pots and pans you need, and more than adequate air conditioner is what you get with your stay. Jennifer is very responsive and I would stay here again!!

This home was perfect for a crew of 10. We had plenty of space to have our on rooms and plenty of space to spread out. The backyard was awesome for looking for gators in the canal ( which we did see and the grandkids were mesmerized) and sitting around the fire pit at night and when you got too hot go sit on the front porch and enjoy the swing and the breezes. The house is very clean and well appointed and they even have kayaks. We would definitely return as it is just up the coast from us! Loads of places to explore and airboats to ride and places for yummy food! Watch for the gators, falcons and ospreys!

Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay! House was adorable, we loved the decor and it had everything you’d need if you were at your own house to cook or just hang out and relax watching some tv. Beds were nice and comfy. The back yard was awesome! We loved sitting on the dock and drinking our coffee or having an afternoon glass of wine with our family. One morning we even saw a manatee with her baby. Location was fantastic! An hour from Tampa, an hour and 20 mins to St Pete. 30-40 mins to Weechi Wachi and Crystal River is 20 mins away. Fort Island beach was a 30 min drive. You should definitely stay here!!! We had the best spring break! Would 100% suggest friends and family to stay here and we look forward to staying here again!

The house is very nice, it has everything you may need for your stay and Jennifer is always available, just in case you may need something. We had an awesome stay.

We rented a golf cart to get around the town.

The house is perfectly located in the heart of Homosassa while still being quiet and relaxing. The property is clean and well kept and we felt very at home in the house. The hosts are incredible people and just a phone call away if you need them. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay in this house.

We enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb! We enjoyed that it was very clean and had a great location to go anywhere we needed. The best thing I liked out about our stay was that there were kayaks and my spouse and I kayaked the waterways during our stay. Jennifer is truly a great host and communicator! Great place to stay. Kim II is great for breakfast and across the parking lot from Publix. Easy to get around to beaches and restaurants. And had the best weather of 85F the last week of February!!

Our family of 4 had a blast in Old Homosassa. The house was clean and comfortable. We had fun with the kayaks and s’mores in the fire pit. The shower has amazing water pressure! We enjoyed lunch at the Wild Sassa, dinner and drinks at Crumps Landing and snorkeling with manatees with Blue Heaven River Tours. Captain Ron convinced us to come back for scalloping!

A beautiful, comfortable house in a magical location. Old Florida in the salt marsh, with birds and river otters fishing in the canal. The house is lovely, recently remodeled in a modern rustic(?!) style that we loved. We stayed for three weeks, lacking little and appreciating the indoor fireplace during a cold spell. We’ll definitely go back.

We loved our stay at Deep Water. Rustic on the outside, updated, clean and comfortable on the inside, it was a perfect getaway for our Moms group, celebrating some milestone birthdays. We enjoyed kayaking nearby with the manatee. Not far from Crystal River and Three Sisters Springs, but we also launched in Homosassa and kayaked to the dock in the back yard. It was a cool January weekend and we had a cozy wood fire burning most of the time.

Jennifer was an excellent host and communicated well. The house is well-decorated and very cozy for a family getaway. We loved having access to the water and used the kayaks to explore the river! We had some unexpected bad weather during our stay and Jennifer was quick to communicate to make sure everything was ok. We would love to stay again!!

Stayed at Jennifer’s place for 5 days with the kids. Everything was amazing, and met expectations. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and we made s’mores under the stars. The house had everything we needed.

I was looking for a home to rent in the area that would accommodate a family gathering (that included children) for a family holiday meal, while also providing accessibility for family members with mobility challenges. This home was perfect! The design choices and finishes were inviting and you felt right away like you were on vacation! There was ample room to spread out and to gather in the house and yard; the kids had a great time with the toy and game options that were available. The linens and beds were comfortable and the house was spotless as well. We enjoyed the fire pit a couple of times, roasted marshmallows with the marshmallow roasting rods, and took a couple of the available kayaks out for a spin in the beautiful canals. Simply lovely and peaceful!!

The yard and access to the river/gulf was great! Perfect for our entire extended family (6 adults, 3 kids and a baby) and our boat! The place was huge for 9 people, it was not overcrowded for all of us. Perfect location for event attended. Saw many fish off the dock. Fishing poles and kayak was left for use. Nice home at a good location which was close to everything driving and boating. Was perfect to have a boat dock in back yard. Made it very convenient to get out on the waterway and explore the entire area.The marina was right down the road which was easy to navigate trailering our boat and dropping in the water, the house is about 15 minute boat ride from the ramp, but a very nice calming ride seeing all the different homes along the water. They also have kayaks you could explore if you don’t have a boat. The home was clean and comfortable, pictures were accurate and had all the amenities you need, very comfortable beds and pillows. Communication with Jennifer was perfect, she responded immediately to any questions and provided all details we needed for boating. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and be back for another visit.

Jennifer's house was perfect! We felt comfortable, safe, and had plenty to do in and out. The house is tastefully decorated, very clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The kayaks were a great plus for our son, we even saw a couple of manatees in the back! The yard was perfect for our pup (and us all). Jennifer was readily available when we had questions. If we ever go back to the area we know where to stay for sure.

Excellent place to stay. Not a single complaint about the house and amenities. Plenty of entertainment provided and a grocery close by. If you want to park and not have to leave again this is a perfect place to do so. Good native bird watching in the area as well.

Pre-check in we had a dialogue with the host who was very courteous, efficient and quick with her email replies. Check-in was a breeze and we were delighted to find a cozy and very clean home. Many small additions which made it very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting in the back yard around the waterfront and fire pit relaxing. Definitely a location we’d frequent again.

My family of 5 needed a place to stay for a week while we had a pipe in our foundation replaced in our home. This home was perfect. Jennifer has thought of everything. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and I was prepared with extra toilet paper, towels, hand soap, detergent, bathroom spray and more. When we arrived, every amenity was provided. There were extra towels in the bedroom storage space, hand soap in each bathroom, enough of everything for our entire stay. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook or prepare food. There was a drawer with any kind of odds and ends you might happen to need. The beds were soft and comfy and the linens were silky soft. We had brought our Apple TV box but didn’t need it because Jennifer had one with Netflix and other apps. There were kayaks to use and fishing poles. My kids love fishing and they enjoyed catching a couple. A neighbor told us you have to fish the bottom off the dock. That was helpful. We had a fore one night in the fire pit and enjoyed sitting under the stars. My kids had virtual school and my husband was working remotely. The WIFI accommodated our needs. There were also ample spaces to separate and get some privacy. The man cave was an added bonus and was a great space to enjoy the view. This home had everything we needed and more. We would highly recommend it and would rent it again. Jennifer is prompt with communication and was available when we had questions.

The place was great! We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and the kitchen had everything we needed. We utilized the three kayaks on several occasions. It is easy to kayak to multiple bars and restaurants in the area. The house was super clean and the host is super friendly and responsive. I would definitely recommend this house to a friend!

It was secluded enough to feel like you were truly on a getaway, but also close to local attractions like Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. We would recommend this home!

The location is great. We found the house to be spotless and we felt very comfortable. The access to the river is about a 10 minute cruise, the dock and water depth is ample for most size boats, we had a 25CC. Easy access to the Gulf. Plenty of restaurants with dockage close by. Kitchen had an adequate amount of pans, and also had plenty of coffee pods. Grocery stores and seafood market are close by. We enjoyed our stay and recommend staying here.

Short Answer- Amazing for our group of 8!Long Answer- Where do I begin?From Check In to Check Out, Jennifer and her Husband made it so easy and got back so quick with any questions that I had. 8 of us (4 couples) got together to celebrate my Husband's birthday. Everything is beautifully updated inside, the house has a Wii and indoor board games. The backyard is nice and big. We brought corn hole and a football so it was great for a BBQ, a nice and calm view of the water is a bonus. The house came with 3 single Kayaks as well! We rented a boat for a day, it was about a 10-15 minute cruise from MacRaes(where we rented the boat) to the house. Very convenient to pick up everyone else at the House's dock and head to the springs! The guys caught a Catfish and a Gar from the dock. Plenty of Blue Crab to see too! They provided bathroom essentials, plenty of towels and even had extra beach towels to share for the weekend. We all loved the space, it came with a Keurig and a Propane Grill. We enjoyed the hands free trash bin as well! Camp Oakie was the perfect place to spend my Husband's birthday weekend with friends. We are sad to leave but we will be back!

This was an adorable house in a great spot! Right on the water with a fire pit, a hammock and a sweet porch swing. We loved the large bedroom where all the kids could play/sleep and hang out. The kitchen had everything we needed and Jennifer the host was accommodating and very responsive. We would definitely return!

I came with a family of varied interests; my teenage sons loved the kayaking and fishing, my older parents loved the cleanliness and tranquility offered inside and out, my sister and her hubby loved the stadium seating couches and family room, I loved the area....close to nature and the water while a hop away from convenience. This is the perfect Airbnb vacation house. It had everything our group needed and more. The location on the water is beautiful, we loved taking the kayaks out. It's close to state parks, Crystal River, etc. The house is immaculately clean. Couldn't have asked for a better experience or vacation.

We enjoyed our weekend very much. Jennifer is a great host and provides so many little extra things that we didn’t remember to pack! The outside area is great for families and the kids had a blast fishing from the dock and kayaking up the canal. The bedrooms provided more than enough room for our group and the house has plenty of space for everyone to enjoy!

This was the perfect space for a family get together. We caught plenty of bass, snapper, and catfish right off the dock!

Jennifer kept us informed the whole time up to our stay. The house was very comfortable with everything that we needed. The location is lovely and near to many fun things to do. At the same time it is off the beaten path and nice and quiet. We loved our stay and would stay again.

Loved the accommodations. Close to lots of eating establishments. Adorable inside and out, modern yet that rustic touch. Extremely clean, lots of yard to enjoy, full kitchen with modern appliances. Jennifer responded within seconds to emails . I highly recommend this property.
